A weird and cool tool for removing vocals from songs
Vocal Remover is a free tool that allows you to remove the spoken or sung words from songs. Load your song into this program and it removes the vocally sung words in many cases. In some cases, it leaves things such as background singers, but that is no problem if you are planning on having a Karaoke night. The tool also allows you to remove breakbeat sections and bass sections too by using the same principles it used to remove the vocals.
A simple tool with a sophisticated program
The GUI is very simple and basic. The Vocal Remover user interface has no design or flair. Vocal Remover is simple looking, but the code that powers the tool is rather clever. In many instances, vocals are equally mixed in both channels, which means they may be identified by this software and removed. The software does it by changing the phase on one of the soundtrack channels by 180 degrees. In many instances, this will remove the vocals, and may still leave the backing singer‘s contributions in tact. This means you may have a Karaoke night by using your downloaded songs, this software, and the song lyrics you researched on Google. Doing it this way means that you do not have to pay for Karaoke software or licences to use popular or not-so-popular songs.
It takes some getting used to
Nobody is saying that the AnalogX Vocal Remover is difficult to use, but it may take a little trial and error before you are able to generate vocal-free songs. For example, you need to give the software a stereo sound stream that is 16bit or 32bit. In most cases, this means feeding the tool a bunch of different songs until you figure out which file formats work and which do not.
